JOIN the REVOLUTION!

Humans, are you sick and tired of scratching your head when asked to prove you are not a robot and being forced to type the sometimes indecipherable, nonsense-words in your favorite blog's comments section?  Do you vainly squint your eyes into narrow slits in your insane attempt to decode bloggers jacked-up verification process? Have you given up utterly and perhaps completely stopped commenting altogether?

BLOGGERS of the WORLD: UNITE!  JOIN the GROWING REVOLUTION of VERIFICATION-FREE COMMENTARY!

It's easy.  It's simple.  Here's how to do it:

1.  If you're on the New Blogger Interface, switch back to the Old Blogger Interface.

2.  Click on Settings.

3.  Click on Comments.

4.  Scroll down the page to Show word verification for comments?  Check 'NO.'

5.  Scroll to bottom of page and click Save Settings.

6.  Spread the word and rejoice!

That's all.

You GO, Venetia! I know the 'tar-paper shack' crack was just Stinking Thinking on my part, Ray. And NO WAY --I am YOUR biggest admirer!

I hate having to prove I am not a robot! It has been discouraging having to try to get my comment published for 1, 2, or 3 times. I want to comment on blogs and we all want to hear from our followers.

Thanks, John for starting a revolution (like that other John, John Adams!).

Good work ... have a drink on me.

Cheers,
Iris

John,
I think a monument should be erected in your honor! The word verification is the bane of blogger existance. I HATE it. The big Quebec holiday is St-John the Baptist Day on the 24th of June...I will have a drink in your honor for what you've done for us!!!
HUGE HUGS!

All this talk about drinking is making me thirsty. Another round, bartender! Oh, wait --that's me...

My blog is verification free. i even have a button. Unless Blogger has done something without me knowing it of course. I hate those things. I can hardly read them and it takes me forever to get the codes right before my comment will publish. I don't drink so I will have to join you in another beverage!

THANK YOU! I had to try THREE times to leave a comment on Sheryl's blog!!!

Very smart of you to figure out how to circumvent that!

John said...[Reply]

I am smart AND pretty, Jeri. Duh! ;)

Teresa, I know. But the PEOPLE, UNITED, will never be defeated, right? And that's OK, I'll fix you up just fine with a refreshing mocktail.

Great minds think alike John, hahaha! I jus got rid of the captcha on my blog this Saturday as I was sick and tired of it. I then thought I should post something on my blog to persuade others to do the same. Your post is great! May I copy it onto my blog as a guest post please?

John said...[Reply]

By all means, Josje, please do! Spread the word! --Hey, I didn't see your Saturday post, yet...

Well,, Fi, it's five o'clock in the MORNING, here and sadly, all I have in my hand is a cuppa coffee. And I'd LOVE to join you but I have to dash out the door to work, darn it.

Hi John,

I turned off word varification yesterday, I bugs me too! I was woried about getting spam, so I am now monitoring comments before they appear, but it's either that or those pesky robot words again!!

cheers
